Franzina Trattoria is an independent Italian restaurant in Brixton, South London. Having established themselves at Pop Brixton, Pietro & Stefania wanted to replicate the traditional family-run Palermo tavernas that are famous for their wholesome no-fuss food and equally tantalising wine, both of which are consumed by all members of the community and generally accompanied by a hum of friendly conversation.
With a menu that changes daily, thus utilising the freshest locally sourced produce, Pietro, the main chef at Franzina Trattoria, creates traditional authentic Italian dishes - often with his personal touch of flare. Some of sicily's most famous dishes -panelle, arancine & sfincione- are perfect for a quick lunch or to take away.
