The Mug House is an independent pub & wine bar in London Bridge, South London. Nestled in underneath the arches, opposite the vaults at the London Dungeon, this warm, characterful and cosy wine bar is a true hidden gem with vaults and crevices of its own. Deceptively large, The Mug House has two fully-stocked bars and an expansive dining area. The candle-lit dining tables are tucked away down the tunnel, making them perfect for private parties & secretive dinners.
The food menu boasts a host of premium British classics, from fish & chips to Davy's own bangers & mash and is served throughout the day, including an additional breakfast menu. On top of that, The Mug House are also well known for their selection of fine cheeses and can pair their dessert wines and port to complement them perfectly.
As for the wine, every bottle comes from Davy's wine merchants and is sourced by James Davy himself, along with the rest of the purchasing team. Be sure to ask the bar staff for their pick of the week's deliveries as the selection is almost too big to choose from!
