Every Sunday Blackheath Station’s car park transforms into a thriving community centre, where customers are often on a first name basis with their hard-working farmers. Not only will you find tasty and fresh food here, but the vendors also display beautiful plants and smooth alcohol, like locally brewed gin! There is usually some fantastic entertainment occuring at this market too, with one of the recent acts being the London Schools Symphony Orchestra!

Probably one of the most well-known food markets in South London, it’s easy to see why so many locals and tourists alike flock to Borough Market. The vendors who trade at this market love bringing unique flavours to its locals, from tahini flapjacks to plum gin or vodka! Their schedule is always jam-packed with exciting events, including monthly kitchen demos and seasonal celebrations. This roughly 1,000 year-old market is certainly a must-visit!
